Editorial food photography with Marcus Wareing shot for Circulon.

Once again I had the pleasure of shooting with the master chef himself  Marcus Wareing. Shooting for Circulon and their amazing Cookware range along with advertising agency Refinery Marketing and Communications.

The shoot this time took place just outside of Manchester in a residential location in Wilmslow Cheshire. As Marcus is now an ambassador for Circulon the brief was to capture him whilst cooking a variety of his favourite dishes. Having worked with Marcus before I knew we’d get some great shots as he was so easy to work with on the previous shoot.

As I mentioned the brief was to photograph Marcus as he cooked. There was also a need to capture just how good these pans were. Capturing the even heat distribution and the circular design, raised for the non stick element and scratch resistance. The shoot was really not just an editorial food shoot it was also a product shoot . And I think we achieved both and then some . Creating a life style cooking shoot that showed the capabilities of the product to its fullest.

Really had a great couple of days with the crew from Refinery and Marcus. A demanding challenging  shoot (just how I like them) with plenty of laughs along the way. Got to have fun whilst you work. Oh yes and not forgetting I got to taste all the delicious food too. And it was so good. Looking forward to the next one . And not just for the food 😉
