Lifestyle Commercial Photography shot in Manchester for JCB Tools …
Following on from my previous JCB blog, this shoot was the second and final phase for their social media and advertising campaign. The location this time a residential home just outside of Manchester.
As before the the shoot was for two days with video running alongside as well. The video started upstairs and I started shooting downstairs. Then swap in the afternoon. Simple .
Once again working with Advertising Agency Refinery Marketing and Communications . With a brief to capture the tools in action. Again location lighting was needed. Not only to light the dimly lit house but also to pick out the tools. And as they say in the styling world. “To make them pop”
As well as the lifestyle photography , still life images were needed too. Again making the product look messy was a priority. The exact opposite of a normal still life shoot. You wouldn’t really see pristine tools being used in an environment like we had . Had to make it look authentic. I think we can safely say we achieved it.
A great two days . Hard work but a lot of of fun along the way too. Always got to have a bit of fun too. As long as you get the shots of course. Which we more than did.
Always a pleasure to work with the great team from Refinery and keep looking for more shoots coming up on the blog very soon.
