Lifestyle Food Photography for Joe Wicks

Had the pleasure of photographing the very talented Joe Wicks aka The Body Coach for his new cookware range in association with Meyer. The location was Kingston London and the Hilton hotel was to be home for two days.

The photoshoot was set for the stunning Kitchen Location with the perfect host Karen Boa.  Karen couldn’t do enough for myself and the team and coffe was in constant supply. Whilst I’m at it  let’s not forget the team 😉 .

Once again working with Raj Kara from Oakbase advertising agency and food stylist (along to lend a hand on an extremely busy schedule ) Kate Bottomley.

The day was a mix of both stills lifestyle food photography and video. The film crew were white noise based in Manchester. I had the task of shooting inbetween takes for the lifestyle cooking shots . White noise were great, we worked out a plan and it went very smoothly. Of course a special mention to Joe who was very patient with two sets of cameras on him at all times, the true professional .. 😉 and not forgetting the fantastic art direction by Raj Kara.

The kitchen location was more than big enough for both sets of creatives. I managed to have a separate set up for the food and product stills through out the day as this required specific lighting for the various products of Joe’s new cookware range.

The Photoshoot went really well and I got some great shots of both Joe cooking away and the product. In fact it went that well I even managed time to ask Joe if he’d send a video message to my daughter and he did willingly , it made her day , mine too as we are both big fans and cook regularly fro  his books. A big thank you for that Joe.

A fantastic two days and loved working with the team and Joe, hopefully work again with them soon ..
