Studio Photography for Womens Socks

Studio photography is a large part of my photoshoots and although many of my fashion shoots are on location I still spend a great deal of time in my Manchester Studio.

The photoshoot was for  Socks and in this case womenswear socks. Menswear is for a later blog.. The main purpose for the photography was social media and brochures but there was also point of sale advertising for the  Sock Shop. 

The model was Becky from Boss Model Management in Manchester. Becky was great to work with as you can see from the shots she had no problem jumping around for her art ;). Now there should be one thing you notice from the shots and this I must point out is in no way due to Becky, but you will notice Becky’s face is never fully in the shot. This was due to the shoot being for Socks alone and instead of cutting off the head (poor Becky) I went for using the length of hair to hide the face..  Still feel bad for saying that but as I said this was no reflection on the fantastic model..

My studio was used to full effect with the white scoop and also pink and blue backgrounds set up. We really kept Becky busy, mind you the changes didn’t take too long 🙂

Really pleased with the results and enjoyed the lively photoshoot.. It’s not often I get to ask someone to jump and they actually do , so well done to Becky..
