Elegant Fashion photography Manchester
My latest photoshoot for fashion accessory company Boardmans Design was the ‘Elegance’ range. My suggestion this time for the fashion photography was to mix it up a little. With this in mind the location was very important. In the past the brochure has been shot in a location more suited to the range so this time I wanted to take it away from the norm. With this in mind the perfect place for fashion photography in Manchester in my humble opinion is the Northern Quarter. With the interesting side streets and graffiti it really contrasted the elegance brand. It was perfect for the look and feel of what I wanted to achieve.
With the location and base sorted for the fashion shoot the styling needed to be perfect. Fashion stylist Sam Thomson more than delivered as you can see in the images. Make up and hair was once again by Alison Chesterton and finished the look perfectly. There was one more touch to really get the feel of the Elegance range and it was the posing of the models. I wanted very angular and exaggerated poses. A throw back to the sixties style fashion photography. With the very experienced models form Nemesis Model Agency in Manchester this was achieved. This combination finished the whole look of an extremely successful fashion shoot.
Big thanks to Rueben and Karl from Rueben Wood creative for being our base as it would have been a little awkward to get the models changed in the cars 😉 . Looking forward to the SS17 photoshoot for the rest of the range which myself and the creative team are going to Lytham to shoot. That is for a future blog. For now take a look at a selection of images from the latest Elegance range.
