Female Fashion Photography in Manchester
With female fashion photography there are a few more factors to consider as opposed to Mens fashion photography. There is more preparation for the models as many different styles can be achieved through hair and make up alone. Which is why I’m glad to say on this shoot I had the very experienced Mandy Winrow.
The photoshoot was for BLFD Womenswear based in Manchester and it was for the new collection designed by the very talented Victoria Cookson.
Having already done a Studio fashion shoot for the brand it was now time to shoot a selection on location. Initially the thoughts were to shoot at the Northern Quarter in the centre of Manchester. However whilst shooting the studio section I thought the surroundings of the BLFD premises suited what we wanted to achieve. The models Lara and Kara from Jadour Models Manchester were great . We wanted attitude and they most certainly delivered. In between shots I’d like to point out that both were very nice girls 😉 ..
The shoot went really well and the rain interrupted now and again but didn’t stop us. The backgrounds worked so well with the clothing and the surrounding businesses really helped in giving us permission to shoot. I’m sure it was my influence angd not Lara,s and Kara’s 😉 .
Really great shoot and really pleased with the result as was the client.
Looking forward to the next one.
