Food Photography is a a big part of my work and one of the most enjoyable. Not just because I get to eat everything I shoot after of course, but it helps ;). The perks of a Food Photographer hey. The photoshoot was for Kitchenware manufacturer Meyer who I have shot for on many previous occasions. So I can safely say I think they like my style of photography and there’s no mess to clean up as its all safely put away in my stomach.
Technically this is actually a product photography shoot as it is for kitchenware, so combining the two makes for an interesting shoot. On previous Meyer shoots they have been on location and this one was no exception. Heaton Moore interiors was the chosen location just outside Manchester. Offering several kitchen set ups which was perfect for the look the client wanted.
When I shoot for Meyer it’s always through advertising agency Oakbase, based in Wilmslow Cheshire. Art direction once again was by Raj Kara of Oakbase. Always a pleasure to work with Raj and plenty of harmless banter throughout the day. With the very talented food stylist Kate Bottomley completing the creative team the final shots looked great and as I mentioned earlier tasted great too . Thanks Kate and looking forward to the next feast, sorry I meant photoshoot 😉
