Professional Product Photography on location in Manchester
Professional product photography has always been important. However now in the world of social media and more and more competition on the web it is more important then ever. Professional images set your website apart from the rest. This particular photoshoot was for a regular client of mine Meyer Cookware through advertising agency Oakbase based in Wilmslow Cheshire. Once again I was working with Raj Kara taking care of art direction. This particular shoot was for there Circulon range.
Really enjoy shooting the Meyer range because it combines two types of photography. One being product photography making sure you see the important details of the product. The other is Food Photography to show what the product is used for. The photoshoot can be challenging when combining the two but as I’ve said in earlier blogs I like a challenge 😉 Also with a great team made up of Art Director Raj and Food Stylist Kate Bottomley it does make my job that much easier.
The shoots for Meyer are mainly on location and this one was at Tru Kitchens in Wilmslow. Quite handy for me as it’s just down the road. It’s a great location as it has a lot of day light coming in and I do love shooting food with natural light. The set ups were planned earlier in the week when myself and Raj did a recci making the day run as smoothly as can be expected. There’s always the odd glitch but that makes the day that little bit more interesting 😉
With the shoot completed and more importantly a happy client all that was left was to pack up and go. Looking forward to the next shoot for Meyer and to eating all of that amazing food Kate prepares for them 😉
