Advertising Photography Manchester Arndale SS21 …

I’ve shot many times for Manchester Arndale and their advertising campaigns . From fashion to product photography. The SS20 campaign was a little different with the focus on Your City Your Centre Campaign. The concept coming from the very talented team at Refinery Marketing and Communications.

The concept was to photograph various chosen people from influencers around this great city of Manchester who could share their story and favourite places. The shoot was over four days, two days in April and two days in May. My task was to follow each of them and capture them in their places where they felt represented their much loved city of Manchester. Better get my walking boots on then and switch the steps on 😉

Aprils shoot introduced me to four individuals Johnny, Marcel, Jamie and India . Each one had their own take on what they loved about the city . Certainly made for a variety of great images and after the two days I certainly knew my way around Manchester …

Mays two day shoot was made up of families , mum and daughter, couples and their children.  Namely George with his two dads Steve and Conor. Obi and Josie with their baby Adana.  Jenny and her mum. One exception Nathan a street photographer who has captured Manchester over the years perfectly. No pressure there then 😉 Another great two days and even more mileage covered from Ancoats to Deansgate and Northern Quarter and back again . Loved every minute of these shoots and and had great fun with some really great people and oh yes enjoyed a great city and a great centre . Namely Manchester and The Manchester Arndale .
