Following on from my previous blog on my fashion shoot for the Arndale Christmas campaign there was of course another day which involved the product photography. Also know as still life photography.

Once again the theme carried on from last years ‘Christmas All Boxed Up’ advertising campaign. However the boxes , thankfully were quite a bit smaller than the previous days fashion shoot. Saved my back there then. The idea of the shoot was to style certain groups of Christmas gifts into the different coloured boxes. Styling on the day was the very talented Bethan Ross of Represented by Me agency so I knew that I was in safe hands. My self and Karen Ward from Refinery Marketing were responsible for the boxes being in exactly the same place regardless of background change. No mean feat I can tell you.

The lighting set up was pretty much the same as the previous day , and of course Christmas songs were played throughout the day. Got to be done. The images looked great from the day so a great effort from all the creative team.

Looking forward to the spring/summer shoot, but let’s get Christmas over with first hey.
