Children Fashion Product Photography …
Earlier this year I was commissioned to shoot for Deichmann Children’s Wear shoes by Refinery Marketing . The shoot was over two days and shot at Foundry studios. The first day was the model lifestyle shoot with the second being still life product photography. All images were for use on their Back to School Campaign.
The Lifestyle Model shoot Day 1 …
Day one of the model shoot was set to be a busy day. Six models over the course of the day in groups of two. With all of them being there together for a portion of the day for a group shot. With the space in Foundry studios I was able to have several set ups to enable a smooth transition throughout the day between shots. The models helped with this too of course as they were all so good and not a camera shy one insight. As I’ve said in earlier blogs when photographing kids you kind of need to be a big kid yourself . So no trouble there then 😉
The aim of the shots was fun and with the help of art direction by Raj Kara (who also did his fair amount of jumping around like a big kid) meant we definitely got the shots the client needed. The organisation skills of Luci Salt from Refinery kept the shoot on track for time too. A big thanks to Rosie J Farnsworth fashion stylist at Represented by me Agency for styling the shoot so well, and not forgetting Katie Leach for looking after everyone 😊
Still Life Product Photography Day 2 …
After the hustle and bustle ( still enjoyable) of the model shoot it was now time for the still life shoot . Again several set ups throughout the studio but this time shall we say a little quieter. No need for jumping around , unless of course some one felt the need too 😉 … With some great styling by Bethan Ross , again from the agency Represented by Me and art direction by Raj Kara ( couldn’t leave him out😉) the shots looked great? I played a part too even if I do say so myself ..
Great shoot and a fun couple of days , looking forward to the next one .
