Fashion Photography Manchester
A fashion shoot for Lancashire Magazine in the heart of Manchester on location at The Lowry Hotel all the hallmarks for a great days fashion photography and what made it even better was just how accommodating the management staff were. Lifts were stopped for me , sections cornered off, they really made us feel welcome and not to mention the room we were given for the models to change, in as well as storing the endless amount of lighting equipment I take on location shoots , you never quite know what you might need.
The editorial was for Lancashire Magazine and was to be called ‘Lady Boss’ and as you can see from the images I think we got that feel across. Styling of the shoot was by Matthew Moxham of Nemesis Model Agency in Manchester. I’ve worked with Matthew before on a shoot I did in the Northern Quarter so confidence was high for a creative successful shoot.
Now with fashion shoots like this obviously the photographer takes a key roll ( I would say that , wouldn’t I ) along with the stylist and of course the make up artist who on this occasion was the very talented Alison Chesterton again from Nemesis. Having also worked with Alison a lot over the years I knew she would deliver the right look.
Now let’s not forget too, the all important models Robert Johnson and Ksenija Selivanova both again of Nemesis Manchester. On fashion shoots like this where a little shall we say ‘intimacy’ is needed it takes a very experienced and confident model to get the the shot and they were excellent throughout the day, made my job a lot easier.
So a great team on the shoot made for some great images and apparently there are more shoots to come, same team different theme. Watch this space …
