Interior Photography at The Cow Hollow Hotel Manchester
Back in January I was commissioned to do the Interior Photography for the brand new Cow Hollow Hotel in Manchester. My initial visit was to recce the hotel for camera positions and to see how many shots were required. Also to determine what was possible for the days photography. The hotel was really impressive with some great details of the original building and added extras to complement them. From an interior photographers point of view this was a dream to photograph. The fashion photographer side of me also thought what a great location this could be for photoshoots. Watch this space 😉
On the day myself and my fashion / interior stylist Sam Thomson showed up bright and early. The initial set up was going to take the time as studio lighting was needed for many of the shots. Sam came with props to add a little to some of the scenes and to help generally in creating each look the client wanted. Only very subtle because as I mentioned the detail of the rooms were stunning as they were.
The photoshoot went really well and according to plan with a nice mixture of full room shots and detail shots. Finally we had enough time for a few exterior shots all be it in the January rain but the client kindly held the umbrella for me 😉
I’m really pleased with images and it was a pleasure to photograph such a beautifully designed hotel they really have done a fantastic job. I know the hotel will be a great success and being situated in the heart of the northern quarter its a great location too.
Looking forward to staying there in the near future…
