Studio Fashion Photography Manchester Arndale …
Well it’s that time of year again . Which also means the Manchester Arndale Fashion photography shoot for Christmas. With the creative team at Refinery Marketing . This year was carrying on from the theme of last years ‘Christmas All Boxed Up Campaign’ , but with a twist. This time the Models we’re going to be in the boxes as well 😉.
The shoot this year was at The Big Shed studio just outside of Manchester and we all arrived early as there was plenty of preparing to do. Large boxes and vast amounts of colorama was the order of the day . Not to mention lighting them. All hands on deck then… At this point I have to mention Justin at Big Shed Studio as he couldn’t do enough for us. Lending a hand wherever needed. So a big thank you from me and the team.
With everything set up all that remained was to manoeuvre the various coloured boxes in and out (no mean feat I can tell you ). Needed a lie down after each one 😉 . Propping was next with presents , Christmas trees, decorations . The list goes on . Not forgetting the models of course Karen Castrillo from Boss Model Management and Laurence James from Nemesis models. Both were brilliant and really got into the festive spirit. Laurence even requested Christmas songs to be played at full volume, no complaints from me. I love a good Christmas tune, even in November …
The day went very smoothly with a good few laughs along the way. As well as keeping busy of course. Shots looked great but can’t take all the credit, I’ll give that to the team as well, including … Raj Kara, Luci Salt, Katie Leach and Karen Ward from Refinery. Hair and make up Maxine Smith and fashion styling Rosie J Farnworth from Represented by Me.
Great day and we still had day two to do , the product photography to shoot, but that’s for another blog a little later …
