Womens Fashion Photography
I mentioned in my previous menswear blog for fashion accessories designer Boardman’s that I was also commissioned to do the photography for the women’s fashion. The shoot was at Castlefields in Manchester. Along with fashion stylist Sam Thomson and Make up artist Alison Chesterton. These days I don’t go anywhere without them 😉
With womenswear the photoshoot does take a little longer as make up and hair requires more time. This always gives me time to prep the locations in advance. On this occasion however we’d already shot the menswear the day before. I have to admit I had time for a coffee or two before the photo shoot started. Perk of the job …
The models were from Industry People in Manchester and I’d worked with both of them on various shoots before so I was more than confident on getting the desired shots for the client. As I mentioned earlier Boardman’s provide fashion accessories not the whole look, so its a full on task for the fashion stylist on these particular photoshoots. Sam delivers every time and the looks were perfect for the brief. I know she’s already worked on the shoot for a couple of days just preparing everything before the actual shoot commences. So a big thank you to Sam. I’ll obviously take some of the credit 😉 …
