Advertising Photographer …

As an advertising photographer, I recently had the pleasure of shooting the SS23 advertising campaign for Deichmann shoes. Along with Refinery Marketing in Manchester. Creating  a series of  images that showcased the latest styles in trainers for men, women, and children.

The photoshoot took place in Refinery’s own studio. They built a custom set that complemented the style that Deichmann were looking for. The set design was modern and stylish, providing a clean and polished look that allowed the shoes to take centre stage. Always love a good set design, so well done to the team at Refinery.

Throughout the shoot, we worked closely with the models. Guiding them through each pose and expression to capture the perfect shot. It was important to me to make sure that everyone felt comfortable and confident in front of the camera. This allowed their personalities to shine through in the final images. It can be quite tricky with footwear as you need to showcase the shoe whilst achieving a natural look. Looking at the images you can see we more than achieved this . Well done to the models , and the creative team too of course 😉

As an advertising photographer, it’s essential to understand the client’s needs and vision for the project. I worked closely with Refinery Marketing to ensure that the final images were in line with Deichmann’s brand and style. We paid attention to every detail, from the placement of the shoes to the model’s expressions, to create an effective campaign.

Conclusion …

Overall, the SS23 advertising campaign for Deichmann shoes was a fantastic experience. Collaborating with Refinery Marketing and working with such a talented team of models and stylists allowed us to create stunning images that captured the essence of the brand. I am excited to see the final images used in Deichmann’s marketing efforts and look forward to the next photoshoot.
