Food and Lifestyle Photography with Marcus Wareing and CirculonUK…

I’ve shot many times for CirculonUK Kitchenware with Refinery Marketing and art director Raj Kara. This shoot I had the pleasure of photographing the master chef himself Marcus Wareing. The location was Wembley London at a private house kitchen rented out for photo shoots. My brief was to capture Marcus cooking with Circulon’s new cookware range. The brief didn’t include eating his food after, but i did anyway and it was delicious.

As with many of my shoots now Marcus was also being filmed. So as well as getting my own set up shots It gave me the chance to get some natural shots whilst Marcus was filmed by the crew. Obviously I behaved and didn’t get in their way. 😉

My shoot involved two set ups. A tripod and camera set up fixed on the pan and then myself handheld shooting Marcus as he cooked. It was quite fast shooting as I wanted to capture the shots in real time . So it called for Multitasking at its best . I think the results speak for themselves. All down to Marcus’s cooking ability of course … Marcus was great to photograph and really made my job so much easier, he even suggested he came in earlier to help me get the shots . Which I really appreciated . Makes such a difference.

So this shoot really was a mixture. Food photography, lifestyle photography and also product photography . Loved it, as I like a challenge 😊
