Well it’s that time of year again. The kids are off for summer break. Which means one thing in my photography schedule. The back to school campaign for Deichmann shoes. Always a pleasure to work with the team from Deichmann. And not to mention the creative input from Advertising and Marketing Agency Refinery based in Manchester. Love shooting with them and the end result is always amazing. Not bigging myself up there as it’s always a team effort. Well maybe a little bit then 😉
The Photoshoot …
The photoshoot took place at Refinery Marketing and their new and very stylish studio set up. Once again there was multiple set ups to ensure the shoot went smoothly. As if I ever doubt it 😉. The styling and preparation for this kind of shoot is key. Yes the lighting is important but as you can see from the finished images. The use of props and colours really make the shots stand out. So can’t take all the credit. Even though I do try too …
Normally on a shoot like this I would expect 12 to 15 images at the end of it. But as a said with planning and preparation this number can increase. A couple of stylists helps too instead of 1, as both can be working on multiple set ups. Provided you have the room of course. And thankfully with Refinery’s studio this was more than achievable. Bit of input from me there , but again not taking all the credit. It’s just not like me😉. The number of shots for the day came to just over 20 at 22. No shot was rushed as that is something I just won’t do, attention to detail is so important, as it is with all my photography. But still very impressed with the number we achieved and the quality of the images. So well done to the team (and me) . Looking forward to the next shoot.
