Kidswear Fashion Photography

Another photoshoot for Children’s Wear designer Minoti based in Manchester. This particular shoot was for there Autumn/Winter collection. Now with my kidswear fashion photography I like to choose the location if possible, and the perfect location was Castlefield in Manchester. Now I know i’ve shot here before but Castlefield has so many backgrounds you can revisit it many times.

The day of the shoot was a sunny day in August so for the coat shots shade and speed were important. I didn’t want to see beads of perspiration on a winter shoot 😉 .. The extremely generous management and staff of Dukes 92 allowed myself and the team to set up on the premises which was a big help. Not sure the kids would have been too happy changing in the cars. The most important thing with children’s wear photography is of course keep the kids happy.. Happy kids equals great shots and great shots equals happy clients .. simple .. right ?? 😉 ..

The fashion shoot was over two days and the kids were amazing, as a lot of walking was needed and also great patience. The location also was perfect for the shoot so the combination of great models and backgrounds , and dare I say the photography too, made for a very successful shoot ..

Bring on the SS18 shoot in December .. Yes I can turn December into summer, leave that one with me and watch this space …
