Studio Fashion Photography

Recently a great deal of my fashion photography has been on location in and around Manchester. Studio Fashion Photography, when commissioned has one main advantage, you’re not relying on the weather. A recent fashion shoot I photographed was for Manchester based Parisian Fashions. AlthoughI do have my own studio they preferred me to shoot at there place. I’m finding this is the case more and more. With fashion wholesalers there are so many designs and it makes more sense for the client to keep them on site.

On the day of the photoshoot it was an early start for me to set up my lighting in preparation for the models. The style of the shoot was very simplistic as there were many designs to shoot in the day. This style of shoot requires very experienced models and both Nemesis and Industry Models provided just that. With great make up and hair the rest was left to me. The day went as well as ( even better) it could have done with all the designs shot.

Just the small task of editing and renaming the files after that which I’ve got down to a fine art. Even if i do say so myself.
