Commercial Product Photography
Commercial Product Photography is showing the clients product in its working environment. The client on this particular shoot was JCB Tools. And it’s safe to say myself and the team from Refinery Marketing certainly achieved that.
The previous shoot, mentioned in an earlier blog was shot at the JCB Quarry. This time shooting at a residential property undergoing renovation. The perfect location to show off the rest of the JCB tool selection. With two days to complete the shoot planning was key. With various scenarios set up for each tool. The models Darren and Paul were great. Both had experience with using the various tools, which was important for the overall feel of the shoot. Not to mention the safety element 😉
Authenticity is important on any shoot. Hence the choice of models for this one. This is also the case for the tools. You don’t want them looking pristine and new. Well not on this shoot anyway 😉. So instead of making sure there were no marks or scratches. We did the opposite, adding scratches and rubbing the dirt in. Looks great though I’m sure you’ll agree.
The two day shoot went really well. Sometimes challenging but that’s just the way I like it. Armed once again with the Bowens XMT 500. Which especially this time was a necessity. Couldn’t have cables everywhere , there was enough already. And as normal I got my self into some very interesting photography positions, to achieve the angles needed for the look of the shot. Take a look at my Instagram you’ll see what I mean.
A great two days with a great team. Looking forward to the next one.
